Two militants were killed in Dagestan

Two militants were destroyed in the Tabasaran district in the south of Dagestan. This was announced by TASS by a source in the power structures of the republic.

"In the Tabasaran district of Dagestan, the security forces during operational events received information about the movement of militants. There was a clash during which, preliminaryly, two militants were killed," the source said.

Interfax reports that the battle occurred on the outskirts of the village of Akka.

The identities of the dead are established. The security forces continue to search for bandits.
