Vitaly Ginzburg was born

One hundred years ago, on October 4, 1916, the outstanding Soviet and Russian physicist Vitaliy Lazarevich Ginzburg, the 2003 Nobel Prize laureate "For the Pioneer contribution to the theory of superconductors and super -weed liquids" was born.

In 1955, he signed a “three hundred letter”, in which Lysenkovschina was condemned in biology, in 1966-a petition against the introduction of articles in the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, pursuing “anti-Soviet fabrications”, and in 1998 founded a commission to combat pseudoscience and falsification of scientific research under the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
