On Monday, the Board of the Moscow Regional Council upheld the decision that obliges the Bogorodsky diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate at his own expense to demolish his Holy Trinity Church in Noginsk. This was announced at his FB page Hieromonk Svyatoslav Skorokhod.
The decision of the Noginsk City Court of the Moscow Region, which the clergy tried to appeal, entered into force. The church should be demolished for four months.
“In parting, we unanimously told the judges that we would not stop there anyway, but we will look for the truth in the highest echelons of power,” Metropolitan Odrian Starina, Metropolitan of Bogorodsky, noted on Facebook.
With a claim for the demolition of the church, the administration of the Noginsky district filed a lawsuit. However, Ukrainian clergy noted that the ROC acted as a valid initiator of the trial. According to antiquity, the Noginsky City Court "fulfilled the order of a certain shadow organization, and more specifically - the Moscow diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate."
The Metropolitan pointed to violations committed by both city and regional courts. In particular, the clergy did not receive the summons for consideration of the appeal, the information about the hearings was also published on the Moscow Regional Council website, and not one of the phones on which Ukrainian priests called to the court worked. They learned about the appointed hearings only by accident.
During the consideration of the appeal, one of the members of the Judicial College did not give the lawyer the clergy of Tatyana Goryunova, the opportunity to state all the violations committed by the court of first instance. “The judge called all its evidence confirming violations,” the old man said. The collegium also did not want to listen to the arguments of the metropolitan.
At the same time, on the eve of the meeting at the lawyer Goryunov, there was an attack. When she returned home in the evening, unknown people opened the car from her. Then the lawyer was called and threatened with reprisal if she does not stop defending Ukrainian clergy.
“Unfortunately, all Ukrainian (in Russia. - Ed.) Is systematically submitted and destroyed,” Hieromonk concluded his post. “Today is a resonant decision to demolish the temple, before that the closure of the Ukrainian library and the liquidation of the unified centralized Ukrainian organization“ Ukrainian Congress of Russia ”.
The Bogorodsky diocese of the UOC -KP covers the territory of Moscow and the Moscow region. Her diocesan center is Noginsk (formerly Bogorodsk). According to UNIAN, the Holy Trinity Temple is the only cult structure of the UOC -KP in Russia. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Wikipedia reports the two churches of the diocese-this is the Holy Trinity Church in Noginsk on the street of the Soviet Constitution and the house of the 7th City Bollen in Moscow. At the same time, the old man wrote in his post that the UOC -KP was obliged to demolish the new church located not on the street of the Soviet Constitution, but on Zharova Street.
