
Akashevskaya Poultry Fabric LLC, located in Mari El, will soon be controlled by the structures of the agricultural complex named after N. I. Tkacheva, two sources who knew about the impending transaction told Vedomosti about this.
Akashevo is the largest poultry producer in Russia and one of the main projects of Rosselkhozbank. In 2015, Akashevo produced 5% of chicken in the country, which amounted to 203 thousand tons. According to SPARK, the owner of the factory is Nikolai Krivash.
The reason for the sale of the enterprise, Director General of Rospstitsesuza Galina Bobyleva called financial difficulties. She explained that the active development of the factory began in the “difficult period” (by 2015 the company ranked the seventh place for the production of Boiler meat in Russia), when the increase in chicken prices stopped.
The newspaper noted that the acquisition of a new enterprise will triple the capacity of the agricultural complex named after N. I. Tkachev for the production of a broiler will make him one of the market leaders.
Agrocomplex named after N. I. Tkacheva was created in 1994 by the father of the Minister of Agriculture and the former governor of the region Alexander Tkachev. The company is one of the largest in the Krasnodar Territory. The shareholder is the brother of Tkachev Alexei.
The minister in an interview with RBC said that he did not see a conflict of interest in the fact that he occupies the post of minister, and his family owns a large agribusiness. At the same time, Tkachev nevertheless asked the Russian government to verify the business of his family. According to the results of the audit, it was recognized that "in the performance of duties on the post of federal minister, the conflict of interest was not admitted."
The rating of the BEFL consulting company indicates that in 2016, the N. I. Tkachev agricultural complex first entered the top ten largest owners of agricultural lands in Russia.
