Google showed its own smartphone

The Google Internet giant at a conference in San Francisco presented the first smartphone under his own Pixel brand.

According to TechCrunch, the smartphone is made specifically for the virtual reality platform (VR) Daydream, which Google introduced in May 2016.

Pixel is equipped with a 12 megapixel camera with a 2.0 aperture. The DXOMARK company, which evaluate the performance of photo equipment, gave the smartphone camera 89 points. This is the highest rating that was ever awarded the smartphone camera in the DXOMARK ranking.

The smartphone will be represented in three colors: black, blue and silver, as well as in two versions of the screen: 5 inches and 5.5 inch. Google claims that in 15 minutes of charging the Pixel battery will receive energy sufficient for 7 hours of using the device.

Pixel will cost from $ 649, pre -orders in the USA, Canada, Australia and India will begin on October 13.

Google also introduced the first Hadset for Daydream. As specified on the company Twitter, the Pixel is equipped with everything necessary for using the VR: the sensor and display of the smartphone are “sharpened” specifically under the Daydream.
