The parents of a girl who died from cancer donated money for the treatment of another sick child.

In Kirovo-Chepetsk, the family of a five-year-old girl, Lera Oshueva, who died due to an acute form of lymphoblastic leukemia, decided to donate part of the money raised for the treatment of another child with cancer, reports the portal ProGorod43.ru.

According to the Oshuev family, during their daughter’s treatment at the Kirov hospital, they met a girl, Milena, who was also diagnosed with blood cancer. After Lera’s death, her mother decided to transfer the remaining 600 thousand rubles collected for her daughter’s treatment to the account of the Cheboksary family.

“I don’t consider this a feat, we didn’t need this money, I think at least the parents will save their daughter. We were treated in the same clinic, and I saw what their child was like,” the portal quotes Lera’s mother as saying.

Now doctors at the Kirov clinic say that if intensive therapy is carried out, Milena Khasanova has a good chance of beating the disease. Experts have found that the girl is now developing several malignant lesions in her brain (two to four millimeters each). This month the girl will be sent for diagnostics to Moscow, and then to highly qualified treatment in Israel. It is reported that Milena will be operated on soon.

In March 2016, the family of a four-year-old girl killed in Moscow, to whom they donated two and a half million rubles, decided to donate part of the money to the treatment of seriously ill children.
