Kommersant: Dvorkovich can become the president of Russian Railways

Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich may take the post of head of Russian Railways. This was written by Kommersant, referring to several high -ranking sources in the government, the presidential administration, the railway industry and state -owned companies.

If the appointment of Dvorkovich will take place, then the current head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov may go to the post of Minister of Transport, one of the interlocutors of the publication added. Among the possible shifters of Dvorkovich, the publication calls the Minister of Industry Denis Manturov, the head of Rosneft Igor Sechin and Presidential Assistant Andrei Belousov, as the Deputy Prime Minister.

At the same time, sources claiming that they are familiar with the position of potential applicants, say that both Sechin and Belousov are by no means eager for the White House. If the authority of Arkady Dvorkovich is decided to redistribute, then the process risks drawing out at least a week. The rotation in the White House, which is unlikely to be limited to the post of one deputy prime minister in October, is more likely to be realized in the coming week, under the privatization of Bashneft. If this does not happen now, then in the future the probability of rotation and screamings in the White House will decrease, sources say.

In OJSC "Russian Railways" and the Dvorkovich secretariat did not comment on the topic. Prime Minister’s spokeswoman Natalya Timakova said that information about the imminent appointment of Dvorkovich was not true, adding that "she was tired of refuting it."

Oleg Belozerov has been the post of head of Russian Railways since August 2015. The previous head of the company Vladimir Yakunin on August 20 resigned in connection with the transition to the Federation Council.
