Three parties went to the Georgian parliament

After the counting of 100% of the votes in the parliamentary elections in Georgia, the CEC announced that three parties were passed into the legislative body: the ruling “Georgian Dream”, the opposition “Unified National Movement” and the “Alliance of Patriots”. This was reported on the CEC website.

The Georgian Dream gained 48.65% of the vote, the “Unified National Movement” - 27.12, the “Alliance of Patriots of Georgia” - 5%.

Six electoral blocks and 19 parties took part in the elections.

Earlier, Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili announced violations committed during the vote count in the past elections. He also announced the second round of voting for those single -mandate regions where it was not possible to determine the winner after the first vote.

The party "Unified National Movement", created by Mikhail Saakashvili and once led the country, loses its place in parliament. Following the 2012 elections, 40% of voters supported it.
