I have no doubt about the existence of peaceful Muslims in Syria and even supporters of democracy: in the end, the country has recently been a secular dictatorship. Just the existence of a “moderate opposition” in Aleppo is in no way confirmed by experimental data.

The parish of the "moderate opposition" in Aleppo began with terrorist attacks. On February 10, 2012, two cars with suicide bombers exploded at military intelligence and security services. The reaction of the Western media mainly came down to the fact that the Syrian regime blew itself up in order to compromise a peaceful opposition.

Hamas terrorists, hiding behind women and children, still turn out to be innocent sufferers, and the Israelis, whom they want to erase from the face of the earth, still turn out to be bloody aggressors.

This does not mean at all that I approve of the actions of the Kremlin. Exactly the opposite. Help in Syria, the Kremlin made two catastrophic mistakes.

Aleppo bombing destroy Russia's chances for any agreement with the West and involve Russia in the war with the Islamic world.
