The Federal Financial and Business Supervision Service following the audit of the audit company Deloitte issued a order to suspend its membership in a self-regulatory organization for 30 days. This information was confirmed by Kommersant in the Federal Treasury.
For what exactly such an order was made, the treasury was not specified, noting only that it has already entered into force. As the publication explains, in practice, the suspension of membership means that within a month the company will not be able to conclude new contracts.
Deloitte itself noted that the requirements have not yet been received, but "they do not expect a significant impact on operating activities and relationships with clients."
Among the largest Deloitte customers in Russia are MTS Bank, OTP-Bank, Zenit Bank, Unicredit Bank. Most organizations clarified that their further actions will be determined after receiving explanations from the company.
Deloitte is included in the so -called “big four” auditors along with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young and KPMG.
