The ceremony was attended by the president of the Night Wolves Biker club, Alexander Zaldostanov, writer Alexander Prokhanov, the leader of the “essence of time” Sergey Kurginyan and the author of the sculpture Oleg Molchanov, reports the online publication “Oralgrad” .

In July, the Governor of the Oryol Region Vadim Parakogo announced that by the 450th anniversary of the eagle in the city, a monument to its founder Ivan the Terrible would be erected in the city. In early October, the monument was erected on the embankment near the Epiphany Cathedral, at the confluence of the Oka and Orlik rivers, where in 1566, an eagle was founded at the direction of Ivan the Terrible.
