The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation denied that the case against businessmen Akhmed and Magomed Bilalov, who were engaged in the construction of Olympic facilities in Sochi, was closed. As Interfax was told by the official representative of the department, Irina Volk, in this case, on the contrary, “operational-investigative groups have been strengthened.”
According to her, investigative actions are being actively carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the implementation of the project to create a tourism cluster and the construction of Olympic facilities in the city of Sochi, the placement of more than 5 billion rubles allocated for these purposes on the settlement accounts of the National Bank for Business Development OJSC and the subsequent bankruptcy of the latter. .
