An underground weapons workshop was closed in Moscow

In Moscow, the police closed an underground workshop for the manufacture and repair of firearms, which was located on Golovacheva Street in the Lyublino district.

As follows from the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, earlier the enterprise had a license for the repair of weapons, but in 2002 it expired.

The police seized “83 units of smooth-bore firearms, two units of rifled firearms, 1,460 units of ammunition for rifled weapons of various calibers, one silent shooting device and 13 units of the main parts of firearms” in the workshop, TASS reports.

A criminal case has been initiated on the illegal circulation of weapons under Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
