On the night of October 16 on Borovitskaya Square in Moscow, the installation of the monument to Prince Vladimir began. The 16-meter figure without the right hand and the cross was delivered to the Kremlin from the workshop in Khimki. Initially, according to the idea of ​​the Russian Military Historical Society, the monument to Prince Vladimir was supposed to be erected on the observation deck of the Sparrow Mountains, but after public proteststhey decided to transfer him. The opening of the monument is scheduled for National Unity Day on November 4.
