A high-powered improvised explosive device has been neutralized in Khasavyurt in the north of Dagestan, Interfax reports citing law enforcement agencies in the region.

“Explosive sappers using special equipment defused a homemade bomb on the outskirts of Khasavyurt. At the same time, no one was hurt, ”said the source of the agency.

The power of the bomb was about 2 kg of TNT.

According to Life.ru, all Sunday morning, explosives experts, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and ambulance doctors worked on the spot. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan said that explosives were found on Naberezhnaya Street.

According to a source in the Dagestan newspaper Chernovnik, the bomb was made from ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder. She lay in a box with a metal bottom, there were no damaging elements.
