Protestant pastor was fined for missionary activities

The Zavodskoy District Court in Kemerovo fined the pastor of the Protestant Church "New Generation" by Andrei Matyuzhov for the illegal conduct of missionary activities (Article 5.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). It is reported by "Mediazona" with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The pastor is guilty that he, being the leader of the group, did not notify the administration of the creation of the church. At the same time, Matyuzhov conducted worship and read sermons, up to 300 parishioners were gathered weekly in the church.

The pastor was forced to publish a video message, he declares his intention to appeal the court decision.
