The court fined the participants of the action in memory of the 1968 demonstration 15 thousand

On October 20, Judge Orekhova of the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined Irina Yatsenko 15,000 rubles for participating in a rally in memory of the “demonstration of the seven” in 1968 against the entry of Soviet troops into Czechoslovakia. Yatsenko was informed about this by OVD-Info.

On August 25, 2016, several people stood on Red Square with posters "For your freedom and ours" in memory of a similar demonstration in 1968. Four people, including Yatsenko, were detained and taken to the Kitai-Gorod police station, where they were charged with violations of the rules for holding a public event (under the fifth part of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). On March 18, the court ruled in the case of one of the detainees: Igor Klochkov was found guilty and fined 10,000 rubles. His case was also considered by Judge Orekhova.

upd 14:45. As it became known, the day before, on October 19, Judge Orekhova also found another participant in the August 25 action, Olga Sonina, guilty under the fifth part of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. She was fined 15 thousand rubles.
