Nationalist Dmitry Demushkin was placed under house arrest until December 21, reported Mediazona from the Presnensky District Court. A criminal case has been opened against Demushkin for publishing a photo from last year's Russian March on VKontakte.
Demushkin was detained and taken to court after he filed an application for another "Russian March" in the morning. Until November 4, the day of its holding, there are 15 days left. Demushkin said in court that the "Russian March" would take place despite the fact that he was arrested.
In a motion to change the measure of restraint, the investigation noted that holding the Russian March "could provoke new crimes."
The reason for changing his travel ban to house arrest was Demushkin's trip from Moscow to Astrakhan. Demushkin says that it was agreed with the court and the investigation.
