The 70-year-old Nizhny Novgorod Tagira Khasanov, sentenced to five and a half years in the general regime in the fabricated case of aiding with terrorism, defeated paralysis. This was announced on his FB page by the lawyer of the political prisoner Marat Ashimov.
At the time of the arrest in March of this year, the lawyer noted, Khasanov had a disability of the III group. He had a lot of serious diseases, including coronary heart disease, diabetes and kidney disease. In May, Politzek suffered another heart attack, and some time ago he found tuberculosis.
At the same time, the lawyer continued, if before the sentence, the administration of the SIZO-1 in Nizhny Novgorod provided medical care to Khasanov “as their possibilities”, then later they stopped treating the politicalese.
On October 16, Khasanova paralyzed her legs. The patient was brought to a meeting with a lawyer scheduled for another day. Further, the pathological process continued, and by Saturday the political zyt was paralyzed almost completely. “He cannot eat and celebrate his need on his own,” Ashimov remarked.
The daughter of Khasanova tried to find out from the doctor of the pre -trial detention center why the patient was not treated. The Fsinovets replied that the convict was actually healthy, and the lawyer was lying.
“Otherwise, this attitude of the administration cannot be called torture to their duties,” concluded Ashimov. He added that complaints to all possible instances have already been sent.
Khasanov enjoys authority among Muslims of Nizhny Novgorod. He performed Hajj twice in Mecca, assisted in the arrangement of mosques, and helped those in need. Was the initiator of the construction of a new mosque in the city.
Khasanov came to the view of the FSB, due to the fact that in 2014 he rented part of his apartment to a resident of Ingushetia Baghdan Umarov, who was subsequently put on the international wanted list on the Syrian war on the side of the Islamic State. The special service stated that Umarov went to Syria precisely under the influence of Khasanov. Ashimov’s lawyer, however, pointed out that at the moment when Umarov went to Syria, his brother Bashir Umarov was already fought there.
Around the end of February 2016, the police detained Khasanov and his tenants from Uzbekistan under the pretext of verifying compliance with visa laws and delivered to OP Kanavinsky. There, however, the detainees asked questions about Umarov.
Two weeks later, March 11, Khasanov was detained after the search. The security forces claimed that during the search they discovered five rounds in the apartment, and the examination then stated that Khasanov was supposedly on these cartridges.
Nizhny Novgorod was placed in a pre -trial detention center. He was charged with part 1 of article 205.1 (assistance to terrorism) and part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code (illegal storage of ammunition). At the same time, Ashimov pointed out a lot of inconsistencies and contradictions in the case. He also emphasized that there is not a single certificate of Khasanov’s connection with terrorists, and the charge is built exclusively on the testimony of persons, one way or another, depending on the investigation.
The trial of the Khasanov began on July 20. The case was considered by the board of the Moscow District Military Court at the away session at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court. The defendant did not admit guilt, saying that he had no connections with terrorists, and the cartridges were thrown back to him.
On July 26, the prosecutor Alexei Ezersky requested seven years of general regime for Khasanov. The verdict - somewhat less severe - was carried out the next day .
Khasanov’s appeal will be considered by the Supreme Court on November 10. The beginning of the hearings at 10 o’clock.
