
A member of the fourth composition of the Moscow PMC was the former chief of the capital's pre-trial detention center-2 Butyrka Dmitry Komnov, a defendant in the Magnitsky list. This follows from the list published on the website of the Public Chamber. The Comnov candidacy was nominated by the so -called Russian Association of Legal Journalism.
The commission also included a member of the Presidium of "Russian Officers" Anton Frololkin and the famous resolver Pavel Pyatnitsky.
Meanwhile, Anna Karetnikova, chairman of the civil rights committee, Andrei Babushkin, journalist of Novaya Gazeta, Elena Masyuk, did not get into the new composition of the PMC on December 5. Also, activist Parnassus Mikhail Kriger (member of the first composition of the PMC acting until 2010), left activist Eduard Rudyk, Yabloko functionary Nikolai Caucasian did not get the commission.
Among the observers who have passed from the third composition of the commission is the journalist of the Moscow Komsomolets Eva Mercachev. The new members of the PMC were the lawyers of the Moscow branch of the Committee on the Prevention of Torture Anastasia Garina and Dmitry Piskunov.
The chairman of the capital's PMC of the third convocation - the leader of the "officers of Russia" Anton Tsvetkov - now became a member of the Moscow Region Commission. The ONK near Moscow also entered the Yabloko functionary Valery Borschev.
The journalist The New Times Zoya Svetova this time was put forward to the Mordovian PMC, but was not included in its composition.
On Friday, the new PMCs were formed in 42 regions. In the province, as well as in Moscow, the authorities left a minimum of independent observers in the commissions. Karetnikova on her FB page noted : "In principle, we have the defeat of public control in all regions. Moreover, exclusively cynical and undisguised."
Merkacheva, in turn, drew attention to the lack of comprehension of commissions in a number of regions. “Only 9 people were chosen to Mordovia!” The journalist wrote. “Have you seen Mordovia on the map? Do you know how many camps and pre -trial detention centers are there? I will tell you so: there will be corpses, there will be torture, there will be a lot of grief and tears without real human rights.”
