In Ryazan, in the explosion of household gas in a ten-story residential building, three people were killed, the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergencies reports . Another 13 people were injured, five of them were hospitalized.

The explosion occurred at 4:36 am. Seven apartments are completely destroyed. The Ministry of Emergencies feared that there were still victims under the rubble. However, this information was not confirmed. "Destroyed and damaged apartments examined three doghouses. The examination showed that, most likely, there were no people under the rubble," said the representative of the Ministry of Emergencies.

207 people and 46 units of equipment participate in the elimination of the consequences of the disaster. Dismantap of rubble is carried out. To work on the upper floors, crankshafts and other specialized equipment are used.

After the explosion, 57 people were evacuated from the damaged entrance of the house. Now they are at a temporary accommodation point open on the basis of a neighboring school. According to the representative of the Ministry of Emergencies, people are provided with water, hot food, medical and psychological help. The press service of the city administration reported that the operational headquarters was created under the governor of the Ryazan region. The priority version of the explosion is a gas leak. The case was opened under part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code (the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements). "During the investigation of the criminal case, investigators will also check the facts of the residents of the house in terms of improper support of apartments with heat supply, independently establishing gas equipment by citizens. For this, measures were taken to withdraw from the relevant municipal organizations serving this house, as well as municipal bodies, documents reflecting the information about the state of the house, the work of its gas system," the press service said in a statement by the press service TCR.
