A hacker from the USA under the pseudonym The Jester (jester) hacked the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, reports CNN. He left a message on the site with an appeal to "stop attacks on the Americans."

"Comrades! We interrupt the broadcasting program of the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation to give you the following important message. Stop. Perhaps you can put pressure on neighboring countries, but this is America. It will not impress anyone here," the hacker wrote.

The official representative of the Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova confirmed the fact of a hacker attack. At the same time, she stated that the old version of the site was hacked. “We are talking about the old site that has not been exploited for a long time. Specialists understand what it was. The press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov called the "nonsense" accusations against the Russian leadership of involvement in hacker attacks on the servers of American organizations.
