130 years ago, on October 24, 1886, Grigory Konstantinovich (Sergo) Ordzhonikidze, a professional revolutionary, a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the All -Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, the People's Commissar of Heavy Industry of the USSR since 1932 was born.
In February 1937, due to the conflict with Stalin, caused by the terror that began in relation to the old party personnel, Ordzhonikidze shot himself (it was officially announced that he had died from a heart attack).
At the February-March-March plenum of the Central Committee, the Ordzhonikidze, which was held shortly after his death, sharply criticism for reconciliation and liberalism in relation to the "enemies of the people".
