In Minsk, they "corrected" graffiti about the friendship of the city with Moscow, finishing the barbed wire

In the capital of Belarus Minsk, graffiti was edited dedicated to the friendship of this city with Moscow, recovering a new element on it - prickly wire, TUT.BY reports. Who exactly made changes to the drawing is unknown, however, according to media reports, he had already left Minsk.

According to Euroradio , the “correction” of wall painting occurred in the morning on Sunday, October 23. Graffiti “refreshed” two people: one painted, the second “on duty”, the portal “Belarusian news” notes.

“The guys drove the lift and painted with cans,” local residents told reporters. At the same time, they admitted that at first they did not notice changes. People went around, but no one paid attention to the fact that the wall has a lift on which a person works in a jumpsuit. Some residents saw the prickly wire in the image only after the journalists pointed to it.

The first messages about changes in graffia appeared on social networks . Photos of a modified drawing were published, in particular, in the Signal Street Art project account.

The author of the "editing" handed over through the project that now at least some meaning appeared in the image. “I wanted to say that if someone is trying to play street art, then he should be ready to play according to the rules of the street art. This is the street-here your work can be destroyed, spoiled, finished. Especially if it is disgusting quality and with a propaganda message,” he said (a quote for “Belarusian news”).

The media also managed to find out another interesting detail - the author of the derivopia personally is familiar with the author of the original. After completing the action, he left Minsk, the portal claims.

Recall, the graffiti dedicated to the friendship of Minsk and Moscow appeared in the capital of Belarus in early summer, on a high -rise building on 32 Mogilevskaya Street. Its author is Russian artist Arthur Kashak. The work was completed at the initiative of Moscow’s representative office in Minsk and became a kind of gift for Moscow Day from Minsk. Earlier, the author of the drawing said that about 300 spray can of paint took the graffiti and this work became the largest for him at that time.

The graffiti depicts a boy and a girl who symbolize Minsk and Moscow, respectively. In the hands of the boy, a bouquet of daisies and cornflowers. The same flowers decorate the wreath on the girl’s head. It was to floral arrangements that prickly wire was added.

The Belarusian media notes that the appearance of graffiti in Minsk in the summer caused an ambiguous reaction of the inhabitants. Many regarded the art object as propaganda.

The changes made in the drawing caused many positive responses. “Excellent creativity, there is not enough for the historical authenticity there,” one of the users writes in the comments on the article on the website, one of the users in the comments on the article. “I take off my hat. This is an art for which Banksy was not ashamed,” another user believes.
