Home arrest of Moscow Imam Velitov was extended until December 27

The Butyrsky District Court of Moscow extended the Imam of the metropolitan mosque "yard" Sheikh Mahmud Velitov The term of home arrest until December 27th. This was reported by the Moscow Agency with reference to Dagira Khasavov, the lawyer of the cleric.

Part 1 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code (public justification of terrorism), which provides for up to five years of the colony, was imputed Velitov. Earlier, Velitov turned to the Supreme Mufti of Russia Talgat Tajuddin and the Council of Mufties, as well as to the Patriarch of Moscow Cyril. He asked to analyze his speech on the presence of signs of justification of terrorism in it. Clearics ignored the appeal.

Velitov is 65 years old, he is a disabled person of group II. I previously suffered a heart attack and stroke.
