Three Russian officers wounded in Aleppo

Three Russian officers were wounded in Aleppo, the Russian Defense Ministry said. They suffered during the shelling in the west of the city. The Ministry of Defense reported that the shelling was carried out by militants.

According to the head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces, Sergei Rudsky, in three days Aleppo was shelled 52 times by militants. They fired mortars and rocket launchers. As a result, 14 civilians were killed and 50 people were injured.

Rudskoy stressed that despite this, he managed to convince the command of the Syrian army not to succumb to provocations and not to return fire on the militants.
