The defendants of the case of the “Ukrainian saboteurs” Evgeny Panov and Andrei Zakhetey in the Moscow pre -trial detention center “Lefortovo” are visited in the absence of lawyers. This was announced on her FB page member of the capital's PMC Zoya Svetova with reference to the Politzecs themselves.
What exactly the security forces are trying to impose on the arrested, in the publication is not specified.
When Panov told the observers about the visits of the operatives, Svetova added, the FSinovets, who was present during the conversation, grabbed the political prisoner by the shoulders and took force out of the chamber where the meeting was held. Meanwhile, the jailer did not have the right to interrupt the date.
In Lefortovo, formally subordinate to the central head of the FSIN, and unofficially controlled by the FSB,Panova and Zakheteya were delivered on the night of October 7 from the annexed Crimea. In the capital's PMC, it was reported that both political zones have traces of the torture, which the FSB operatives subjected them after abduction in August.
In the middle of the month it became known that lawyer Dmitry Dinze took up the protection of Panov . Information about whether there is a defender by proxy with Zakhtei, in the media was not published.
39 -year -old Panov - a resident of the city of Energodar Zaporizhzhya region, worked as a driver at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. In August 2014 - August 2015, he served as a volunteer in the ATO zone. After demobilization, he entered the Energodar self -defense. Activist of the party "Dill"; According to her quota, he was elected in the Executive Committee of the City Council.
The 40 -year -old Zakhtei is a native of Galicia. It has two criminal records - for robbery and fraud. In 2011, he went to Russia; Then he settled in the annexed Crimea. In the profile on his VK page, the place of residence indicated Evpatoria, but at the time of the abduction he rented an apartment in neighboring saks. Lived for random earnings, including from construction work and a private carrier.
Panov was abducted on August 7; In the Crimea or on the continent, it is still not yet known. Panov’s relatives are sure that he was abducted in continental Ukraine, after which he was brought to the peninsula. Meanwhile, surrounded by the activist reported that he really went to Crimea on business. In favor of such a version, none of the reports of the abductions of activists in the continental Ukraine in the future has been confirmed in the media also says in favor of the previously published media.
Zakhtea was kidnapped in the evening of the 6th or on the night of August 7, when he went to order-to take passengers from the village in the Yana-Kapu area (Krasnoperekopsk). On the 8th, he was arrested for 15 days under Article 20.1 of the Russian Administrative Code (petty hooliganism). Meanwhile, in the morning of the 7th, the FSB operatives searched in the rented apartment of the stolen. After that, the housekeeper kicked out the wife of Zakhetea along with an eight -month -old daughter on the street.
On August 10, the FSB announced the disclosure of a group of saboteurs sent to the peninsula by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Then the surname Panov was mentioned for the first time. The next day, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that another defendant in the case is Zakhti.
Panov was arrested on August 11, Zakhteya in the criminal case - the 13th. On the same days, the FSB distributed videos with grateful testimony of both these two defendants and the third - 27 -year -old Crimean Tatar Redvan Suleimanov, after the annexation of the peninsula of the settlement in Zaporozhye.
On the recording of Panov’s interrogation it is clear that he was subjected to cruel torture. In early October, detailed information about these torture was informed to human rights activists an independent lawyer who visited the political prisoner. It is known that they also tortured Zakhtea. Nevertheless, in September it was reported that he abandoned part of the confession.
Depending on the sane role, Panov, I will, Povte and Suleimanov, are charged with part 1 of Article 30 - paragraph "A" of part 2 of Article 281 (preparation for sabotage), Article 208 (participation in illegal armed formation) and 222 Russian Criminal Code (illegal transportation of weapons). This case is investigated by the UFSB on the annexed Crimea and Sevastopol. It is also known that the case was allocated for separate proceedings under Article 317 (an encroachment on the life of the military), opened on the facts of the death of the head of the Crimean UFSB department of Lieutenant Colonel Roman Kamenev and the corporal of the 247th landing and storm regiment Semyon Sychev. It is transferred to the Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Black Sea Fleet.
Zakhteya’s wife reported that on September 5, her husband was charged with aiding terrorism. She did not indicate accurate qualifications - as we can assume, was meant either article 205.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (assistance to terrorism), or part 5 of Article 33 - Article 205 (aiding in the attack). However, this information has not yet received confirmation.
On August 15, it was reported that nine people were detained in the case of Ukrainian saboteurs. The names of the defendants were not given. It was also reported that only two suspects were arrested. Since by that time it was already known about the arrest of Panov and Zakhtei, it can be assumed that Suleimanov was not sent to the pre -trial detention center. In favor of such a conclusion, it also says that, unlike Panov and Zakhtei, he was not taken to Moscow.
