Apple introduced the new MacBook Pro

Apple at the last presentation in 2016 introduced the new MacBook Pro. Meduza held online events.

The main distinguishing feature of the new laptops is the touchscreen on the keyboard instead of the top row of keys. Buttons for controlling the system or individual applications will be displayed on it. The trackpad is noticeably larger than previous models.

In addition, the Touch ID fingerprint identification system appeared in the MacBook Pro. With it, in particular, it will be possible to switch users.

The computer will be presented with a screen diagonal of 13 and 15 inches and in two color options - light and dark gray. The thickness of the 13-inch MacBook Pro will be 14.9 millimeters, which is 3.1 millimeters thinner than the previous model.

The laptop is equipped with four USB-C ports (through which you need to charge it) and a headphone jack.

The new MacBook Pro will start at $1,799 (13-inch screen) and $2,399 (15-inch screen). You can order it now, deliveries will begin in 2-3 weeks. The MacBook Pro used to start at $1299 and $1999 for the 13-inch and 15-inch models, respectively.

In Russia, new laptops cost from 145 thousand and from 190 thousand rubles, respectively.

A simplified version of the new MacBook Pro has also been on sale since October 27, with physical keys instead of a touchscreen and two USB-C ports instead of four. It costs from 1499 dollars (in Russia - from 120 thousand rubles).
