The court fined the participants of the motor rally in memory of the deportation

On October 27, a court in Crimea found guilty and fined four participants in the motor rally on the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Deportation of Crimean Tatars on May 18. It is reported by "Crimea. Realities".

The court found four participants in the rally (Ablyakim Ablyakimov, Enver Chavush, Seitmamut Seytumerov and Alim Muslyadinov) guilty of holding an uncoordinated public event (Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and fined each of them 20,000 rubles.

On May 18, 2016, activists from Sudak drove along the route with Crimean Tatar flags framed in black ribbons. Muslyadinov, Seitmamutov, Ablyakimov and Chavush were detained, and protocols were drawn up against them for violating the procedure for holding public events. In June, the Sudak City Court closed the case due to the lack of corpus delicti. However, the police appealed this decision, and at the end of August the cases were reopened.
