Euroset will pay Samsung 1.22 billion rubles for delay payment of supplies
The International Commercial Arbitration Court (ICAC) at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia ordered LLC Euroset-Rythile to pay compensation in the amount of 1.22 billion rubles to the control of Samsung Electronics RUS LLC. The interlocutor said that the Samsung structure October 2015 through the ICAC demanded to recover 1.22 billion rubles from the Euroset for delay when paying for the delivered goods in the amount of 52 billion rubles.
The President of Euroset Alexander Malis told Kommersant that the ICAC granted Samsung's lawsuit. At the same time, the head of the company called the court’s decision “blatantly illegal”. He explained that the process took two and a half hours, during which the judge "even did not check the amount [debt]."
“We will appeal this, because we believe that the Moscow Institute of Medical Sciences violated our right to justice,” Malis concluded.
The representative of Samsung Electronics Natalya Maleva told the newspaper that she did not intend to comment on the incomplete trial.
In August, Vimpelcom Samsung resumed cooperation. It was reported that from August 2, the devices and VR attributes of Samsung will again be sold in Beeline salons. Whether the products of the South Korean company will appear at Euroset, which belongs to Vimpelkom, not specified.
