The FSB did not let go of the "theater.doc" artistic director abroad

Today, October 28, the artistic director of the Moscow Theater Theater “Theater.doc” Mikhail Ugarov, because of the ban on the FSB, could not fly out of Sheremetyevo to Germany.

“I did not fly to Berlin. Not released at the border. No explanation of the reasons. Order of the FSB / Border Service. I hope this is some small fine. Otherwise - what? ” Wrote the Ugarov on Facebook.

He was not informed about the reasons for the ban on leaving the country.

The director, playwright is a healing, artistic director of Theater.doc Mikhail Ugarov is also a participant in the organizing committee and one of the organizers of the Lyubimovka festival and the head of the seminar of young playwrights, the ideologist of the New Drama movement (New Play).

At the end of 2014, the police searched the theater.doc, breaking out the show of the Ukrainian documentary film “Stronger than Weapons”. At the show, it was planned to collect donations in favor of the family of Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov. After the search, the theater building was sealed.

In May 2015, representatives of law enforcement agencies came to Theater.doc at the rehearsal of the play “Swamp business” . It was soon announced that the audit was carried out "in connection with the appeals from citizens received by the supervisory authorities about gross violations of fire safety rules." The director of the theater Elena Gremin was called to the prosecutor's office demanding to provide copies of the charter documents.
