The police found a cache with a weapon near the house in the Belgrade microdistrict of Yainz, where the parents of the Prime Minister of Serbia Alexander Vucich live, to whom he regularly comes to visit. According to Reuters, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia Neboda Stefanovich announced this on Saturday.

The police received information about the cache from a certain informant. The weapon was in the bushes at the intersection, where the Vuchich motorcade dumps speed to almost 10 kilometers per hour. Among other things, law enforcement officers found a grenade launcher, manual grenades and cartridges for a rifle.

After that, Vucicch was evacuated to a certain safe place. What kind of place it is, Stefanovich did not specify.

There have been no detentions in the framework of the investigation that has not yet been carried out.

Previously, Montenegro announced the arrest of a group of Serbs, who prepared after the elections on October 16 the seizure of parliament in Podgoritsa, as well as shooting at the opposition rally with the intention of provoking the assault on parliament. On the 25th, Vuchich confirmed this information, adding that terrorists planned their shares "in coordination with foreigners."

The next day , Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia arrived in Belgrade. The official purpose of the visit, which was not announced in advance, was announced preparations for the signing of the Serbian-Russian memorandum of understanding in the field of security.

Patrushev met with Vucich, Stefanovich, as well as the president of the country Tomislav Nikolich and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ivitsa Dachich. All negotiations were closed. At the end of the visit, only a short message appeared, which stated that "the security services of Russia and Serbia are successfully cooperating."

Meanwhile, on October 28, on the last day of Patrushev’s stay in Belgrade, the Serbian media reported that a group of Russian citizens involved in the preparation of terrorist attacks in Montenegro was sent from the country. Serbian officials then did not refute this information.

At the same time, the Russian embassy in Belgrade claimed that they did not receive relevant information from the Serbian authorities.

On Saturday, Stefanovich also stated that during a meeting with Patrushev, "there was no question of any citizens, Serbia did not deport anyone and there was no situation for someone to leave with Mr. Patrushev, who did not arrive with him."
