SMEDLAEV: In Crimea, under an article on terrorism, two more Muslims were arrested

Some time ago, two Muslims - Akhmatjon Abdullaev and Nemat Isroilov were arrested in the annexed Crimea on charges of terrorism. This was announced on Saturday by the chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Crimean Tatar people Zair Smedlyaev at his FB page.

Both Abdullaev and Isroilov were imputed part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization), after the entry into force of the "Law of Yarova" providing for from 10 to 20 years of the colony. They are in the pre-trial detention center-1 in Simferopol. Whether the one and the other arrested by the defendants in one case is not clear from the message.

It is known about Abdullaev that he is 40 years old, he is a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, and was arrested at the end of August. Regarding Isroilov, any details are not reported. His surname suggests that he is a visiting from Uzbekistan or Tajikistan.

Smedlyaev also wrote that, according to unconfirmed information, a certain elderly Muslim suffering from cancer was sent to the pre-trial detention center-1, and he died in conclusion.

After the annexation of Crimea, the Russian occupation authorities began large -scale repressions against Muslims, primarily Crimean Tatars. In many mosques and religious schools, searches have passed over the past two years; Imams are constantly undergoing detentions.

In different areas of Crimea, four cases of membership in the Hizb Ut-Tahrir are fabricated. 19 people were arrested on them. Four defendants in the first, Sevastopolsky, cases have already been sentenced to terms of five to seven years of general regime.

The spiritual department of the Muslims of Crimea, which has gone to cooperation with the invaders, does not protect the persecuted, and Mufti Emirali Ablaev writes denunciations in the FSB , the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the prosecutor's office for the believers who are not subordinate to him. He accuses his opponents of belonging to Hizb Ut-Tahrir or Khabashites.

Khabashites are a relatively small school in the number of followers. It actively operates in only a few countries, including continental Ukraine. As well as “Hizb U-Tahrir”, the Khabashites are not related to terrorism; At the same time, unlike Hizb Ut-Tahrir, they are not even prohibited in Russia. Nevertheless, the missionary of this school in the Crimea, and after the annexation of the peninsula, it was the formation of a special Tauride muftiyat to cause Ablaev’s irritation.
