Foreign currency borrowers detained at night in St. Petersburg were released

At night, while posting leaflets on Raiffeisen Bank ATMs, members of the initiative group of foreign currency borrowers were detained. This was reported on the Rosbalt website on October 31. In the morning, all detainees were released with an obligation to appear.

According to one of the borrowers, Dmitry, the detainees were taken to police department No. 2 of the Admiralteysky district. At first, the police wanted to draw up reports on them under Art. 20.2 of the Administrative Code (violation of the established procedure for holding a public event), but in the end, after keeping the detainees in the police department for more than six hours, they were released without protocols.
