The Investigative Committee will conduct an inspection after [Roskomnadzor] of a traffic police officer in Kirov

In Kirov, the Investigative Committee began an investigation after the discovery of the body of a traffic police inspector with a gunshot wound, according to the department’s website.

The man’s body was found on the evening of October 31 in the courtyard of one of the houses on Preobrazhenskaya Street. Investigative Committee officers went to the scene to conduct investigative actions.

The website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kirov Region reports that a corpse with a gunshot wound to the head was found in the courtyard of the building of a specialized traffic police battalion.

The ambulance doctors arrived and carried out resuscitation measures, but the man died. “Presumably, the cause of the incident was a suicide attempt,” the statement said.

The publication gorodkirov.ru, citing sources, writes that the policeman’s name was Mikhail Tatarinov. According to them, Tatarinov could have committed [Roskomnadzor] “due to debt obligations or disagreements with colleagues.”
