The Moscow City Court left Demushkin under house arrest before the Russian March

The Moscow City Court rejected the appeal of the nationalist and organizer of the “Russian Marches” Dmitry Demushkin against house arrest, TASS reports .

The decision of the Presnensky District Court of Moscow on the preventive measure for the nationalist until December 21 was recognized as legal. The defense side demanded that the decision be overturned.

“The investigator referred to the fact that I was leaving Moscow, but did not present any evidence to the court,” Demushkin said at the hearing.

The Presnensky District Court sent Demushkin under house arrest on October 21. Previously, the nationalist was under recognizance not to leave the place, but the investigation decided to change the preventive measure, indicating that he had violated the terms of the subscription. The nationalist is accused under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity) for posting photographs with the Republic of Moldova banner on social networks.

Earlier on November 1, one of the organizers of the “Russian March” Yuri Gorsky said that the Moscow authorities agreed to hold the action on November 4 in the Lyublino district in the southeast of the capital. Previously, it was reported that the authorities rejected four applications.
