Nationalist Dmitry Demushkin will remain under house arrest

On November 1, the Moscow City Court dismissed the appeal of nationalist Dmitry Demushkin, thereby keeping him under house arrest until December 21, as previously decided by the Presnensky District Court of Moscow. This was reported on Twitter by the United Group of Public Monitoring of the Observance of Constitutional Freedoms (OGON).

A criminal case has been opened against Demushkin for publishing a photo from last year's Russian March on VKontakte. The reason for changing his travel ban to house arrest was Demushkin's trip from Moscow to Astrakhan. Demushkin says that it was agreed with the court and the investigation.
