Those detained at a protest rally in Makhachkala were released from the police department

Those detained the day before at a spontaneous protest rally near the mayor's office of Makhachkala were released from the police department on the same day after drawing up protocols on an administrative offense. This was reported on the evening of October 31 to the Internet publication Chernovik in the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to police, four people were arrested. They were accused of petty hooliganism - the corresponding article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses provides for a punishment of up to 15 days of administrative arrest. Information about when the trials of the rally participants will take place was not available at the time of writing. The names of the detainees are also unknown.

A spontaneous rally was held at the mayor's office of Makhachkala on the afternoon of October 31 after it became known about hundreds of cases of poisoning of city residents with drinking water. The police dispersed most of the protesters, threatening them with arrests. One of the protesters, who went to the city hall to meet with the deputy head of the city, was threatened by the police with expulsion from the university.
