© Staatsoper HamburgOn November 6, the premiere of the performance will be held at the Hamburg Opera Theater, uniting one -act operas “Without Blood” by Peter Etvash and the “Duke of the Blue Beard” Bela Bartok, in the production of Russian director Dmitry Chernyakov.
The musical director and conductor-Peter Etvash, the parties are performed by the Angel Denoko (Germany), Bariton Sergey Leifokus (Russia), Bas Balint Sabo (Hungary) and the Mezzo-Soprano Claudia Manka (Germany).
Costume designer Elena Zaitseva, artist Gleb Filchensky, playwright Johannes Bloom and video director Tini Burkhalter also worked on the production.
Bela Bartok worked on the opera “The Castle of the Duke of the Blue Beard” on the text of the poetic play of Bela Balazh in 1911-1917. The first production was carried out in 1918 in the Budapest Opera.
Peter’s one -act opera Ethan “without blood” based on the novel of the same name Alessandro Barikko was written specifically for joint performance with the “Duke of the Duke of the Blue Beard”. In the concert performance, the opera was first represented in May 2015 in the Cologne Philharmonic, the prime minister of the stage version took place a year later at the Avignon festival.
