Clown Oleg Popov died

Oleg Popov, a graduate of the State School of Circus Art, began his career in the circus with equilibrition. In 1951 he made his debut as a carpet clown. He created the bright artistic image of the "Solar Clown". In his rooms, the artist traditionally used elements of equalibrics, acrobatics, juggling, parody, buffoonery and eccentric.

In 1991, Oleg Popov left for Germany. He lived in the Bavarian city of Eglofstein (Verkhnyaya Franconia) with his wife Gabriel. Popov performed in foreign circuses under the pseudonym "Happy Hans".

In 2015, Popov first came to Russia - at the Master Circus Art festival in Sochi, where he was awarded the title of "Circus Legend".
