Three members of the Human Rights Council commission met with convicted oppositionist Ildar Dadin in Segezha IK-7. this . reports Novaya Gazeta

According to commission member Pavel Chikov, during a two-hour conversation, Dadin confirmed the beatings in colony No. 7.

“He spoke in detail about the events that followed after he arrived in the colony. Dadin confirmed that physical force was used against him by several colony employees - what he described in the letter. He revealed the details to us. Retelling them, as you understand, is not yet possible, especially since we are not finished,” the publication quotes Chikov as saying.

He added that later the colony management should provide CCTV footage to the HRC commission.

On November 1, Dadin reported being beaten after starting a hunger strike in IK-7. Meduza published a letter that lawyer Alexei Liptser wrote down from Dadin’s words: he asks to contact human rights activists and make public information about the state of affairs in IK-7, claiming that the head of the colony, Sergei Kossiev, was personally involved in the beating.
