The representative of the Volga Group, Gennady Timchenko, communications director of Anton Kurevin, commented on political scientists that the businessman allegedly left the nearest circle of President Vladimir Putin. It is reported by RBC .
“He [Timchenko] continues to be an active participant in the business processes taking place in the country,” Kurevin said.
Timchenko “actively behaves in the areas that he was entrusted to him: the Russian-Chinese business council, he was recently appointed an honorary ambassador of the Republic of Serbia,” Kurvin noted.
The representative of Timchenko called the theses that the businessman left Putin's nearest circle “relative concepts” and urged not to speculate on the topic of the president's environment. Kurevin noted that Timchenko "may be outwardly and not very noticeable, but does what he should do."
Earlier, political scientists “Minchenko Consulting” issued a report that states that Timchenko fell out of Politburo due to a decrease in activity in strategic directions. In addition to him, in their opinion, the ex-head of the presidential administration Sergey Ivanov left Putin's entourage.
Political scientists call the new candidates for the Politburo members the new head of the presidential administration Anton Vaino and the first deputy head of the AP Sergey Kiriyenko.
