Olga Kovitidi, a member of the US Credidian's annexed Crimea, denied the information according to which she prepared a bill on the introduction of state ideology in Russia. It is reported by Lenta.ru.

As Kovitidi said, in fact, she developed another bill - on the establishment of "Day of Forestry" in Russia. “It is due to the fact that in the present period of time, characterized by threats against Russia, historical events are of particular relevance, which stubbornly corresponded by our nearest and distant neighbors,” the senator emphasized.

“As a basis,” she continued, “I took the events of 1991-1992, when the Black Sea of ​​our Red Banner Black Sea Fleet under the St. Andrew's flag refused to take the oath to another state - Ukraine.” This, as follows from Kovitidi's explanations, made it possible to create a Russian bridgehead in Sevastopol for the subsequent annexation of Crimea.

At the same time, the senator noted that the institution of the "Day of Fidelity of the Oath" is necessary to ensure the unity of all citizens of Russia and the formation of the country's modern ideology.

As it can be assumed, it was this explanation earlier on Tuesday that RIA Novosti was erroneously interpreted as a message about the preparation of the bill introducing state ideology.

“In order to ensure the unity of the Russian people, the formation of the country's modern ideology, we can begin to talk about the need to have a single ideology in Russia,” the agency reported the Senator’s word at a meeting of the “government” of Crimea.

It was also argued that this bill has already been submitted to the State Duma, although it is absent in the base on the website of the lower house.
