Bailiffs seized the pension and disability payments of Saratov ecologist Olga Pitsunova

Saratov ecologist and member of the Public Chamber of the Saratov Region Olga Pitsunova received a notice from the Pension Fund about the seizure of all her pension income, as well as disability payments. This is reported by the publication "Public Opinion" with reference to the spouse Pitsunova Andrey Pinchuk.

The bailiffs arrested Pitsunova's income due to non-payment of a fine of 200 thousand rubles, which, in turn, was imposed on her earlier in connection with the non-payment of another fine received for the refusal of the environmental organization Association Partnership for Development, of which Pitsunova was the chairman, to register as " foreign agent."

Earlier, half of Olga Pitsunova's pension payments had already been seized. “This is a fine for “not paying a fine on time” ... These ... when they issued a fine of 100 thousand, they did not indicate where to pay it. When last year, as a result of a “support campaign” on the Internet, we managed to collect the required amount and when we asked the court for the attributes for payment, instead of an answer, we received an apartment storm and a new “fine for not paying a fine on time” already in the amount of 200 thousand ... ( This is despite the fact that earlier the Constitutional Court said that these fines do not comply with the Constitution),” Andrei Pinchuk wrote on his Facebook page in March 2016 after the arrest of half of his wife’s pension.

In September 2014, the Partnership for Development association was recognized as a "foreign agent". The court sentenced the organization and Pitsunova personally to a fine of 400,000 rubles and ordered him to register as a “foreign agent” for receiving an American grant in 2012. As evidence of guilt, an examination was presented, which stated that Olga Pitsunova was causing “geopolitical harm to Russia in the interests of foreign states”, in particular, she was accused of criticizing the Rosatom project to expand the storage of radioactive waste near the village of Tatishchevo in Saratov region.

The publication notes that the grant in the amount of about 300 thousand rubles, which was discussed in the court decision, was received by the Partnership for Development a few months before the law on "foreign agents" came into force. According to Pitsunova herself, her persecution is due to the fact that she defended the conservation status of the Kumysnaya Polyana natural park adjacent to Saratov.

Olga Pitsunova had a heart attack in the process of litigation and struggle with bailiffs, after which she underwent surgery, which is why she received a disability.
