Komi authorities considered an unconstitutional rally against the abolition of the Ministry of Nature

The administration of the Izhemsky municipal district of the Komi Republic refused to coordinate the rally planned on November 14 against the merger of the regional Ministry of Nature and the Ministry of Industry, calling this requirement to contradict the Constitution. The interference in the organizational activities of the authority of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation regarding the requirements of the restoration of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the document says, does not comply with the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, federal laws.

The district administration also warned the organizer about the possible "holding accountable in the prescribed manner."

The organizers told Open Russia that they intend to hold an event, as well as complain to the Investigative Committee and the prosecutor’s office of illegal attempts to intimidate.
