The husband of the lawyer who advised the defenders of Torfyanka was taken to the police station

The search in the apartment of Marina Verigina, a lawyer who assisted the defenders of Torfyanka Park, ended; it lasted more than 13 hours. According to information from lawyer Sergei Shank, who was not allowed into the apartment during the search, Verigina’s husband, Vladimir Grechaninov, was taken away in an unknown direction. At the moment, neither his whereabouts nor what he is charged with is unknown. Sergei Shank is currently in the apartment.

While the search was going on, Verigina and Grechaninov called the police due to the denial of access to the lawyer and an ambulance for Verigina. None of the services arrived.

UPD: As of 22:05, Grechaninov was taken to the Babushkinsky police station. An ambulance came to Verigina. According to lawyer Sergei Shank, the apartment was destroyed; laptops, money and even family silver were taken without paperwork. The lawyer called the police in connection with this incident. Later, lawyer Anastasia Georgievskaya was allowed to visit Grechaninov at the police department, not without obstacles.

Throughout the day on November 14, the Investigative Committee conducted interrogations of the defenders of Torfyanka, who were detained in the apartments. All of them are witnesses in a criminal case for insulting the feelings of believers. Defenders of Peat are fighting against the construction of a temple in the park.
