Employees of the Federal Security Service detained five participants in an extremist group related to the Islamic State, Interfax reports with reference to the Center for Public Relations of the FSB. The special services claim that the detainees were preparing terrorist acts in the territory of Ingushetia and in Moscow.

"The FSB, during the implementation of the complex of operational -search measures, stopped the activities of a group created to commit crimes of terrorist and extremist nature in the territory of Ingushetia in Moscow. This group is associated with the Islamic State International Terrorist Organization," the Central District Hospital said.

A criminal case has been instituted against the detainees under part 2 of article 205.5 (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization prohibited in Russia). "On the territory of the households in which they were hiding, as well as in a specially equipped caches, five units of firearms were seized, two of the explosive devices weighing 10 kg of TNT for explosive devices," they showed them in the special services. In addition, the detainees found homemade electric depositors, components to home -made explosive devices, ammunition for various types of weapons.

As noted in the Central Bank, in October 2016, the leader of the group - emissar IGURI SUUTIEV and five his accomplices were killed during the counter -terrorist operation in Ingushetia. There were no losses among the personnel.

The FSB regularly announces the prevention of terrorist attacks. On November 12, the special service announced the detention in Moscow and St. Petersburg ten participants in the sabotage and terrorist group. According to special services, the detainees "planned to perform a series of resonant sabotage and terrorist actions in the city of Moscow and the city of St. Petersburg using automatic weapons and homemade high-power explosive devices."

"They found and seized four home -made explosive devices of high capacity, filled with damaging elements, initiation tools, firearms, ammunition, as well as communications, - it was planned to commit terrorist shares in order to destroy civilians in places of mass location of people."
