Megafon estimated the costs of implementing the requirements of the Yarovaya Law at 500 billion rubles

Megafon will require over 500 billion rubles to fulfill the maximum requirements of the so -called "Yarovaya Law", which obliges operators of communication from July 1, 2018 to store subscribers traffic, including the recordings of their conversations. The corresponding cost assessment is given in the fresh quarterly report of the company.

The compilers of the document recall that the government has not at present has adopted a decree that determines the procedure, terms and storage of the data specified in the law.

Megafon discusses with other communication operators and federal executive bodies of the Russian Federation a model for the implementation of the requirements of the specified federal law, ”the report said.
