Shortly before the concert, the activists of the “God's Volya” movement tried to pour one of the Marilyn Manson musicians “Holy Water”, and the concert was canceled due to an anonymous call about the bomb laid down by the stage.

The Novosibirsk concert was scheduled for the City Day, June 29. “Orthodox activists” opposed the concert, which stated that the texts of Manson’s songs are “a mixture of obscenities, drug propaganda, sexual perversions and insults of the Christian faith”.

The city hall of Novosibirsk demanded to transfer the concert from the day of the city due to too much load on city services and law enforcement agencies. As a result, Manson managers decided to cancel the performance.
