The budget deficit for 2017 of educational institutions of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation will amount to 1.1 billion rubles.

This was announced today, November 17, at a meeting in the Committee on Culture in the State Duma, First Deputy Minister of Culture Vladimir Aristarchkhov, reports TASS .

The ministry of the Ministry of Culture is 60 universities and other educational institutions. “For these universities, we receive money under the state program by education and cannot replenish the deficit under the state culture program. This year we received 10.6 billion rubles, for 2017 we planned 9.5 billion rubles, that is, the deficit will be 1.1 billion rubles, ”Aristarchkhov explained.

“For us this is a disaster, because recently we will“ fast ”. - commented by the Rector of VGIK Vladimir Malyshev. - From 75% to 80% of the allocated money, it goes to the salaries that we must raise, 10% - to the communal apartment, 5% only remains for development. And it is necessary to update musical instruments, film equipment, props. ”

“There is no money and will not be,” said the director of the State Duma, director Vladimir Bortko. In his opinion, it is possible to get out of the situation only if "revise the distribution of money, take from mediocre educational institutions and give those who we can rightfully be proud of."

Deputy Minister of Finance Andrei Ivanov does not consider the situation to be catastrophic. “The education scope is a priority for the government, against the background of a general reduction in expenditures, the budget for education increases as percentage expression [by 7.3%], so there is no need to talk about the catastrophic situation here.”

“26.5 billion rubles will still be added to the state program in 2017, and 25 billion in 2018 and 2019 for the construction of schools and the implementation of training programs for specialists of secondary special education,” Ivanov said.
